We are looking for an outbound Sales Development Representative to join and contribute to the growth of our rapidly expanding organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is excited by the prospect of playing a major role within an established but fast-growing start-up. This is a contact-to-hire position. We are looking for a long-term team member that is driven and loves to learn!
The Role & Responsibilities
Identify revenue opportunities within the prospect base through various inbound and outbound marketing programs such as cold calling, cold emails, and opportunity qualifications.
Meet or exceed activity metrics for outbound calls, appointments set, opportunities added, and prospecting time.
Research prospective customers, identify key players, and generate interest to expand the list of sales qualified leads.
Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections.
Provide opportunities to the sales team, working closely with sales reps as necessary about the opportunity.
Build relationships and effectively communicate with Sales Directors.
Proactively look for opportunities to improve, optimize outbound lead management.
Skills & Experience Needed
6+ months prior experience in an SDR/BDR, Account Manager, or Customer Success experience in Software/High Tech company preferred.
Or a recent graduate in a related field (Marketing or Business preferred but not limited to).
Experience or ability to conduct cold calling, cold email, and other prospecting techniques.
Willingness to learn product features and functionality at a fast pace and be able to adapt to change quickly.
Passionate about developing their career in sales/digital marketing.
Embraces & implements feedback given - growth-oriented and coachable.
Comfortable working with autonomy from home and utilizing virtual communication tools.
