The Opportunity

Armory is looking for a positive, performance fueled, and growth oriented individual to fill a Sales Development Representative (SDR) role within our crew and help us continue to grow revenue each quarter. We are scaling internal systems and processes and need an increased flow of qualified leads for our inside sales teams to expand. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to begin or enhance their sales career on the ground floor of a post Series-C software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup and learn from industry experts.

What You'll Do In This Role

Qualify prospects based on their current business challenges and needs using targeted and relevant questions Become an expert at using lead generation tools to generate lists of target prospect accounts Be proficient at using a sales development platform to execute the outreach process consisting of phone, email, and social touches Meet or exceed qualified lead/demos quota every month Schedule discovery calls for our inside sales team Strive to continuously improve your sales development process and demonstrate a willingness to learn and implement best practices Represent and demonstrate our company values, brand, and mission as a first touch point with potential customers Master sales methodology, qualification and discovery skills Provide feedback and recommendations on marketing efforts from real-world interactions with prospects and customers

What You'll Bring

Prior lead generation and/or sales prospecting experience within the software space is a plus, but not required Ability to speak with CEOs, CFOs, CTOs, Engineering Managers at early stage and growth businesses and ask intelligent questions Genuine customer empathy and a passion to deliver amazing customer service A thirst for knowledge and growth in a start-up environment Organized and possess strong time management skills A sense of urgency and persistence Self-motivated with ability to move and react in a fast paced, changing environment Able to thrive in a startup environment— you move quickly, think strategically, and are superb at tactical execution Proven ability to work cross-functionally with customer-facing and back-office teams Excellent presentation, listening skills, written and verbal communication Analytical and keen on following the data Fluency in English
