Sales Development Representative

We are searching for an upbeat, sales-focused, results-driven professional to join our team to head outbound efforts, drive lead generation, qualify inbound inquires and help fill the top of our commercial team’s pipelines. It is the perfect job for someone early in their career who wants to break into the sales and pursue a dynamic career.

The sales development representative will do outbound prospecting, leveraging our technology provider who will do the dialing for you! You must enjoy the challenge of the hunt and the ability to showcase and highlight our offerings in a compelling fashion. As part of our sales team, this position will report to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

  • Outbound prospecting via Connect2Call technology (no dialing!!)
  • Utilize SalesForce (CRM), telephony and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries in a timely manner and facilitate a smooth hand-off to commercial team for a sales appointment and/or demo
  • Nurture lead responses and develop relationships with potential clients
  • Collaborate with marketing and commercial team to align on the most up-to-date messaging and remain consistent with strategy, vision, and goals

About You

  • 4 year college degree
  • Demonstrate experience and proficiency in high pressure, competitive situations
  • Willingness to try new concepts and open to coaching
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and tenacious; unafraid of rejection
  • You have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work out of Stamford, CT office in the future
