Sales at Crunchbase


We are building our sales team to quickly scale our customer base and identify new revenue opportunities within existing accounts. Our customers are diverse and range from startups to Fortune 500 companies, but they all count on Crunchbase for critical information delivered at the right time. This is an amazing opportunity if you're looking to join a well-known organization with an established sales funnel and book of business while crafting the direction and success of the team.


The Sales team is responsible for spreading adoption of our API and SaaS products - Crunchbase Enterprise, Crunchbase for Applications, and Crunchbase Pro.


What You'll Do

  • Empower the team to goals, objectives, and quota achievement
  • Fostering collaboration among the team and leading by example while carrying a quota
  • Development of coaching sessions on prospecting methods, handling day to day tactical questions
  • Train SDRs to understand the unique needs of prospects, and identify the best way to position Crunchbase through role plays and call listening
  • Work directly with management and sales leadership along with other cross-functional teams like marketing, product and CX

What We're Looking For

  • 1-2 years of experience working as a SaaS senior sales development representative looking to progress their career as a sales development leader
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce, Outreach.io , & LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Strong history of achieving and exceeding quota
  • Experience working both inbound and outbound channels
  • Proficiency in cold calling, email personalization and social selling
  • Passion for team collaboration, coaching and seeing others succeed
  • Selling to the sales persona is a plus
