The Role

We are looking for an ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) who can follow our sales process to identify and create new qualified sales opportunities for our Sales Executives in the mid-market and enterprise lending space. As part of the lead generation team, the SDR manages the inbound lead activity, qualifying active buying interest and developing opportunities in prospect accounts.

To be successful as a SDR, you should be able to prioritize your day and build rapport with lenders to create a superior prospect experience that will set the stage for effective sales follow-up, as well as future product sales.

Duties / Key Responsibilities

  • Intrinsically motivated and able to negotiate in a competitive market
  • Qualify inbound leads to move them through our sales process
  • Develop prospective business through numerous channels
  • Demonstrated knack to persuade and influence clients through a consultative sales approach
  • Work with weekly, monthly, quarterly sales targets and KPI’s

What We Look For

  • 1 year prior sales experience (previous B2B SDR/BDR experience in software/fintech preferred)
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal team members
  • Hungry to learn about our customers' needs and LoanPro’s place in lending
  • Experience interacting with prospects via telephone and email

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with G Suite, Slack, Microsoft Office, Salesforce or similar applications is a plus
  • Desire to continue to learn and grow through continuing training
  • Innovative thinking who is constantly looking for a better way to do things and is willing to take measured risks to achieve the desired results
