As one of our first sales hires, you’ll be the driving force in building our sales process, strategy and pipeline and play a critical role in Dragonboat’s growth. You will not only have the ability to create value through immediate increase in sales but will also have the opportunity to structure our sales systems, work directly with our executive team and shape our culture. This is a career path with potential for rapid promotion.
As Account Executive you will focus on new customer acquisition and expansion within your book of business. You’ll use research to gain insight into customer challenges, identify key stakeholders, and challenge customers' thinking about how Dragonboat can transform the way product teams work. You’ll work closely with the SDR, marketing and customer success teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end experience for new customers.
Achieve and consistently exceed pipeline and sales targets by converting free trials, marketing-qualified leads, and demo requests into paid customers Drive revenue and own the full cycle sales process including providing demos, navigating internal stakeholders, negotiating contracts, and closing new and renewal business with customers Utilize solution-selling techniques to effectively guide sales process to close Establish strong rapport with key stakeholders involved in the evaluation process Educate and convey the relevant and unique benefits of Dragonboat Collaborate with the SDR, marketing and CSM teams to optimize lead generation and sales conversion and become the voice of our users
The Skill Set
3+ years of technology related sales or business development experience at a B2B SaaS company Consistent top performer, and have a history of exceeding your targets Knowledge of sales coaching, best practices, and sales methodology Experience selling to Mid-Market & Enterprise customers, including C-level executives Exceptional communicator, both written and verbal Demonstrated success with commercial and legal negotiations, working with procurement, legal and business teams Highly process and detail-oriented Team-player attitude with a strong desire to help improve internal processes beyond just your day-to-day tasks
